The private equity firm that invested in Grant Thornton UK is buying a strategic stake in the accounting firm’s German arm as part of a bid to expand client services and invest in technology.
Cinven said Wednesday it has entered into a strategic partnership with Grant Thornton Germany, after earlier buying a controlling stake in the UK firm. The announcement didn’t disclose the terms of the latest deal and size of the stake.
