The bankruptcy administrators of the Patisserie Valerie café chain said Monday they had settled a £200 million ($246 million) claim against Grant Thornton over its audits of the collapsed company.
Both Grant Thornton and FRP Advisory confirmed the claim had been settled for an undisclosed amount. FRP sued the accounting firm in 2020 after Valerie Patisserie had been put into bankruptcy administration the previous year.
