Grenke Shares Climb as KPMG Nears Completion of 2020 Audit

Grenke AG shares had their biggest gain in more than two months after the leasing company said KPMG is close to finishing its audit following fraud allegations, paving the way for the release of 2020 results.

“Audit evidence and required information have largely been furnished and are currently being examined by KPMG,” Grenke said Monday in a statement. The auditor’s report is expected by May 17.

A spokesman for KPMG declined to comment when contacted by Bloomberg.
