The body that sets global rules for both financial accounting and environmental, social, and governance reporting needs a new funding model to fulfill its mission, its boss said Tuesday.
Michel Madelain, managing director of the IFRS Foundation, said that one of his priorities over the next two years is to build a “sustainable” funding model for the foundation and rethink its operating model. He was speaking at a meeting of the IFRS Advisory Council, which provides strategic support to the foundation.
