India will soon release for public consultation rules and forms for the implementation of its new income tax law that becomes effective April 1, a senior government official said Tuesday.
“For the first time, it will be put in the public domain very shortly for stakeholders’ consultation,” Prasenjit Singh, member of the Central Board of Direct Taxes, said.
Singh was speaking at an event organized by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, a trade association.
