KPMG Blocks Referrals to Former U.K. Insolvency Unit: FT

KPMG will not refer any work to its former U.K. restructuring business Interpath Advisory as it attempts to repair its image in the wake of a series of investigations and fines, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar.

  • Liz Claydon, head of KPMG’s U.K. deal advisory practice, was involved in the decision
  • KPMG declined to comment, the FT said; Interpath chief executive Blair Nimmo said KPMG had not told him it would not refer work to the company
