KPMG Names Gary Wingrove as Global Chair and CEO

KPMG confirms the appointment of Gary Wingrove as its new global chair and chief executive officer, according to a statement on Wednesday.

• Chief Operating Officer Wingrove was previously selected for the role by the accountancy firm’s board, with his new position now approved by KPMG’s global council
• Wingrove to start four-year term on Oct. 1 and will succeed Bill Thomas, who’s been in the role since 2017
