KPMG Pledges $1.5B for ESG Reporting, Assurance, Tech

KPMG LLP will invest $1.5 billion globally to integrate sustainability and climate risk management into its core services as companies navigate growing demand for more disclosure about their environmental and social impacts and risks.

The commitment includes a pledge to train the firm’s 227,000 professionals about environmental, social, and governance reporting and to establish specialty hubs, including one to focus on helping companies meet their carbon reduction targets, the firm announced Tuesday.
