Accounting firm KPMG said its global revenue rose 14% to almost $35 billion last year, with its advisory arm acting as the main engine of growth.
KPMG advisory revenue grew 19% to $15.4 billion in the financial year ending in September, according to a release published on Tuesday. The audit unit recorded an 8% rise to $11.6 billion while tax and legal services were up 10% to $7.6 billion.
The professional services firm said it added 29,000 net new jobs globally during the period. The company has more than 265,000 staff in 143 countries, according to the statement.
