Mango Labs Loses Bid to Freeze $47 Million Lost to Trader (1)

Mango Labs LLC failed to win a court order Friday freezing $47 million held by the jailed trader charged with defrauding the Mango Markets cryptocurrency exchange and its depositors.

US District Judge Lewis Liman denied the request for a preliminary injunction Mango Labs sought to prevent Avraham Eisenberg from moving the balance of money he allegedly took in a “malicious attack” against the decentralized exchange on Oct. 11.

“A preliminary injunction is not warranted,” Liman said in federal court in New York.
