Ohio Minimum Wage Expected to be $11 for 2026

The hourly minimum wage in Ohio is expected to increase to $11 from $10.70 effective Jan. 1, 2026, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.

The minimum wage for tipped employees is expected to increase to $5.50 from $5.35, according to the calculations.

Ohio’s minimum wage applies to businesses with a certain amount of annual gross receipts. Businesses are expected to be subject to the minimum wage law in 2026 if they have at least $405,000 in annual gross receipts, up from $394,000 for 2025, according to the calculations.
