Oracle Australia won an appeal Tuesday to stall an Australian Taxation Office case against it for alleged royalty tax evasion and to use international tax dispute resolution procedures instead.
The Federal Court of Australia overturned a 2024 court decision that refused to allow a pause of tax office proceedings against the company for royalty withholding tax and penalties worth A$253 million ($164 million).
