Randy L. Thornton has been named the chief human resources officer of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, according to a news release Friday.
He has overseen the human resources office in an acting capacity since October, according to the PCAOB.
Thornton, who joined the board in August as deputy director of HR delivery, served as the chief of management services for the CIO Organization at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for four years, PCAOB said.
