PCAOB’s Goldin Named Acting General Counsel of Audit Watchdog

Matt Goldin has been appointed acting general counsel of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Goldin, who served as a deputy general counsel, will start the new role Jan. 3, the US audit watchdog said Friday. He will manage the general counsel’s office, providing legal advice on the board’s work.

The announcement is the latest in a string of leadership changes at the board that oversees audits of publicly traded companies’ financial reporting.
