Planned Polish windfall tax on oil companies is set to level out cuts in VAT and excise tax on fuels introduced last month, Finance Ministry said in mid-term budget plan.
- That will help Poland stay on budget spending path recommended by the EU to allow the country to exit the excessive deficit procedure
- NOTE: The ministry is yet to publish details of the windfall tax
