Jacqueline Reck, associate dean of financial management and academic affairs at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida, will join the accounting standard-setter for state and local governments.
Reck will start a five-year term on the Governmental Accounting Standards Board on July 1, 2022, and will be eligible for a second term. GASB’s parent organization, the Financial Accounting Foundation, made the announcement Tuesday. It also also reappointed Kristopher Knight, Delaware’s deputy secretary of state, to a second five-year term on GASB that expires in 2027.
