Big accounting firms continue their aggressive expansion into legal services, with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP announcing an alliance with an international law firm to strengthen its immigration practice.
PwC said Sept. 24 it had set up a strategic alliance with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen and Loewy LLP, a legal firm specializing in immigration, with annual revenues of $577 million.
Fragomen will remain independent, but the firms will cooperate in areas such as marketing and technology, Lance Kaplan, managing partner of Fragomen’s international practice group, told Bloomberg Tax by phone,.
