PwC’s Indian arm appointed women to two key executive positions Friday, as the firm focuses on growth in the aftermath of an audit ban.
Asha Ramanathan, a PwC partner, is stepping into the role of chief operating officer, the firm said. Ramanathan replaces Satyavati Berera, who is retiring. Gayathri Parthasarathy is joining from IBM to lead the financial services business, the firm, which is also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, said.
