PwC to Invest $1.3B, Add 20,000 Jobs in China Over Five Years

PricewaterhouseCoopers said it will invest 8 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) and create 20,000 new jobs over the next five years in China, according to an announcement on the first day of the China International Import Expo.

  • The plan, known as “The New Equation”, will prioritize investments in five areas including digital redesign, digital products and solutions, environmental, social and governance, regional economic clusters, and workforce of the future
  • PwC will build smart green offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong to ensure digital and sustainable ways of working
