PwC UK Sets Up New Digital Unit to Focus on AI, Tech Innovation

PwC is creating a new unit focused on technology innovation as part of a restructuring of its UK organization.

The Big Four accounting and consulting firm, also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers, said Monday the move is designed to simplify the way that staff work together. PwC is the UK’s biggest accounting firm, with 2024 revenue of £6.3 billion ($8.2 billion).

Its new “digital delivery” unit will focus on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data. PwC’s approach to AI includes a recent team up with ChatGPT owner OpenAI to offer clients AI-generated advice.
