PwC’s US and UK affiliates said Friday that the firms were taking part in an investigation into the sharing of Australian government tax plans to the Big Four firm’s clients.
PwC US “is participating in an investigation into this matter in close coordination with our global colleagues. We will take appropriate actions in the US as warranted,” the firm said in a statement, calling the leaks “completely unacceptable.”
PwC’s global arm, which has also condemned the leaks, earlier this week tapped the international law firm Linklaters to launch an inquiry into the sharing of what was meant to be confidential ...
