Revolut’s Auditor Had Questions Over Three-Quarters of Revenue

Revolut Ltd’s auditor said it was unable to satisfy itself on the “completeness and occurrence” of almost three-quarters of the UK fintech company’s revenue in 2021.

The auditors from BDO LLP said the nature of Revolut’s in-house technology systems meant they couldn’t verify almost £477 million of revenue, leading them to issue a so-called qualified opinion on the firm’s latest accounts published Wednesday. That report showed the firm making its first annual profit in 2021 after nearly tripling its revenue.
