Saudi Aramco Appoints Former EY Chairman Weinberger to Its Board

Saudi Aramco appointed the former chairman and chief executive officer of Ernst & Young LLP to its board, replacing Andrew Gould who resigned last month.

Mark Weinberger’s appointment was effective March 31 and he will serve Gould’s remaining term on the board, the Saudi oil giant said in a statement.

Weinberger currently is also a director on the boards of Johnson & Johnson and Metlife Inc. He was previously an assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Treasury under President George W. Bush and served on the presidential advisory councils to President Donald Trump and President Barack Obama.
