The International Accounting Standards Board said Tuesday it had received strong support for proposals to make companies disclose more details about supplier-finance arrangements.
The board discussed feedback on proposals published in November 2021 to give more details about supplier finance in the notes to the financial statements but didn’t make any decisions. The IASB previously said there was no need to change existing accounting standards even though they didn’t mention supplier finance.
