Tesla Korea received “qualified opinion” for its 2022 financial report from external auditor Taesung Accounting Corp., according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
- The auditor says Tesla Korea reflected a total ~28b won of additional corporate tax charge and penalty imposed by Korean regulators, which were attributable in 2021, in 2022 financial statement
- Tesla Korea also reflected the corporate tax charge as receivable rather than expense
