Trump Tax Leaker Seeks Leaner Sentence
Charles Littlejohn, the former IRS contractor who leaked tax information of President Donald Trump and wealthy business leaders, makes his case in a federal appeals court Tuesday for a leaner sentence.
The former Booz Allen employee admitted to sharing the data of more than 8,000 individuals and entities with news organizations between 2018 and 2021. He’ll argue for a lighter sentence rather than the statutory five-year maximum he received in January 2024, after he pled guilty to one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax information.
