U.S. Audit Board Fills Two Long Vacant Senior Leadership Roles

The U.S. audit regulator has hired a new general counsel and an enforcement director—filling two key leadership positions that have sat empty for more than 18 months.

Patrick Bryan will serve as enforcement director and Kenneth Lench will take on the role of general counsel, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board announced Dec. 17. Both previously worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission, which oversees the board’s work.
