U.S. Audit Regulator Hires First Liaison to Investors, Directors

Investors, corporate directors, and public companies now have a direct point of contact at the U.S. audit regulator.

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has named Erin Dwyer to serve as the board’s first liaison to this key group of audit stakeholders, the board said May 29.

  • Dwyer held a similar role at the Center for Audit Quality, an advocacy organization created by the accounting industry in the wake of the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act, where she was managing director of stakeholder engagement and communications. She previously worked for Prudential Financial Inc. as a sell-side analyst.
