U.S. Audit Regulator Loses First Board Member Since Overhaul

The lone woman serving on the U.S. audit regulator is leaving after the completion of a partial, two-year term, the SEC announced Oct. 11.

Kathleen Hamm was named to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board in 2017 as part of an overhaul of the board’s leadership. Her term expires later this month.
