UK Groups Seek Longer Pilot for Corporate Tax Filing Changes

The UK should run a longer pilot to standardize a corporation tax return system for more than three million businesses, according to two tax professional groups.

A longer pilot phase will allow His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs to monitor the first round of submissions and enable software providers to take corrective actions, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales said in a press release Tuesday.
