UK’s FRC Starts Probe on Some EY Audits for Years Ended ‘21, ‘22

The UK’s Financial Reporting Council has started an investigation into Ernst & Young audits of a public interest entity and a related non-PIE entity’s consolidated financial statements for the years ended Dec. 31, 2021 and 2022, according to a statement.

• Decision made on Nov. 21
• Says it does not relate to any persons or entities other than the relevant auditor and audit firms
