US Audit Board Member Who Advocated for Auditors, Tech to Resign

A member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board who pushed the Enron-era regulator to adopt technology advances and was a vocal critic of the its rewrite of the US audit rulebook is stepping down.

Christina Ho said Tuesday that her last day serving on the US audit board will be Jan. 31 unless a successor is named sooner. Ho’s term ended in October and she opted not to seek reappointment, according to a statement.
