Accountant groups in the US, Canada, and Mexico renewed an agreement making it easier for professionals in those countries to work in the others.
The U.S. International Qualifications Appraisal Board—which represents the American Institute of CPAs and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy—extended its Mutual Recognition Agreement with CPA Canada, Mexico’s Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos, and Comité Mexicano para la Práctica Internacional de la Contaduría through 2028, the accounting bodies said Tuesday.
