Varengold Postpones AGM Due to Ongoing Special Audit by BaFin

Due to the ongoing special audit of business operations of Varengold Bank by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), PwC as auditors for the financial year 2022 has not yet been able to complete the necessary procedures, according to statement.

• The bank has not yet been given the prospect of a concrete end of the audit in the foreseeable future
• Annual General Meeting will therefore not be able to take place on 30 August 2023 as planned
