The International Accounting Standards Board said Wednesday that it has hired a former Vivendi accountant as one of its European representatives.
Bertrand Perrin will join the board July 1 to represent Europe for an initial five-year term, the IASB said. He replaces another French representative, Francoise Flores, whose term ends in June.
- Erkki Liikanen, chair of the IASB’s parent body, the IFRS Foundation, said in a statement that Perrin’s “experience in applying IFRS Standards will provide helpful insight in our standard-setting work.”
