Voestalpine has filed criminal complaints against two unidentified former executives at a German subsidiary, after an internal probe into suspected accounting fraud, Austrian steelmaker says in statement on website.
- Filing is result of comprehensive investigation by a specialized auditing firm and a German law firm
- Damages caused by accounting errors amount to low single-digit million euros “as of today”
