Wachtell Names New Leaders William Savitt and Andrew Nussbaum

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz has appointed new firm co-chairs, tapping litigator William Savitt and corporate partner Andrew Nussbaum to lead one of the country’s most unique and profitable law firms.

The duo will replace former co-chairs Ed Herlihy and Daniel Neff, who are stepping down after the leading the firm since 2006. They will remain on the firm’s executive committee, the firm confirmed on Tuesday.
