WeWork Inc. blew the deadline to file its annual financial statement, citing the need to find a new auditor and its ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
The company “is in the process of engaging a new independent registered public accounting firm, but until a new firm is engaged and the audit is performed, the filing of the Form 10-K will be delayed,” WeWork said in a securities filing Tuesday.
