Ten Indiana county tax rates are to change, effective Jan. 1, 2020, while the state tax rate is to be unchanged, the state revenue department said Dec. 17.
The state tax rate of 3.23% and the deduction constant tables were unchanged in Departmental Notice No. 1 from the previous version of the notice, which is effective from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
However, nine county tax rates are to increase, and one county tax rate is to decrease, the department said. The tax rate changes are as follows:
- Cass County, to 2.7% from 2.6%;
- Decatur County, to 2.5% from 2.35%; ...
