2 Kentucky Cities Increase Occupational Tax Rates

Occupational tax rates increased for two Kentucky cities, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

Henderson, in Henderson County, increased its tax rate to 1.49%, from 1.29%, an ordinance passed by the city said.

Tompkinsville, in Monroe County, increased its tax rate to 1.5%, from 1%, a spokeswoman for the city told Bloomberg Tax on Jan. 7.
