Los Altos and San Mateo County, California, announced their minimum wage rates for 2026, according to updates on their websites.
In Los Altos the minimum wage will rise to $18.70 from $18.20. Los Altos intends to release 2026 minimum wage posters by Nov. 3, according to its website.
In San Mateo County, the minimum wage will rise to $17.95 from $17.46. San Mateo County’s minimum wage only applies to unincorporated areas of the county. The county released an updated minimum wage poster for 2026.
