San Francisco and Emeryville, California, announced local minimum wage increases effective July 1 on their websites.
The minimum wage will rise to $19.18 from $18.67 in San Francisco and to $19.90 from $19.36 in Emeryville, according to the websites. San Francisco and Emeryville are at opposite ends of the San Francisco Bay.
San Francisco released an updated minimum wage poster to reflect the increase. Emeryville has yet to publish a new poster.
San Francisco is a consolidated city-county, so its minimum wage applies to both the city and county of San Francisco.
