2 Seattle Suburbs Release Minimum Wages for 2025

Minimum wage rates in Renton and SeaTac, Washington, are increasing effective Jan. 1, 2025. Renton’s minimum wage for mid-size employers will increase again in July.

The hourly minimum wage in SeaTac will rise to $20.17 from $19.71, according to an Oct. 1 announcement from the city. The rate applies to employers in the hospitality and transportation industries.

The minimum wage in Renton will increase to $20.90 for large employers, according to the city’s website. The rate for mid-sized employers will be $18.90 from Jan. 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025, and will rise to $19.90 from July 1, 2025, ...
