2022 Year-End Checklist Available for Payroll

The start of the fourth quarter generally heralds the beginning of the year-end payroll reconciliation process.

To help employers navigate the often-complicated year-end process, which extends into the following year’s first quarter, a year-end checklist was developed by Bloomberg Tax in collaboration with the payroll team at KPMG.

The checklist can improve payroll’s ability to complete the year-end process, starting with the first planning session in October to the year-end briefing meeting held in March. Along the way, the checklist can be used to remind employers when to review documents, file forms, and follow up with service providers.
