3 Chinese Provinces Updated Minimum Wages

Three Chinese provinces updated their minimum wages effective either Feb. 1, March 1, or April 1, according to an April 3 chart (Chinese) from the national Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

In Fujian, monthly minimum wages for full-time workers range from 1,895 yuan (US$257.88) to 2,265 yuan, up from 1,660 to 2,030 yuan, the ministry said. Hourly minimum wages for part-time workers range from 20 to 23.5 yuan, up from 17.5 to 21 yuan, the ministry said.

In Guangdong, monthly minimum wages range from 1,750 to 2,500 yuan, up from 1,620 to 2,300 yuan, and hourly minimum wages ...
