3 Kentucky Localities Raise Occupational Tax Rates on July 1

Three Kentucky localities increased their occupational tax rates for 2024, effective July 1.

Grant County increased its occupational tax rate to 2.5% from 1.5%, according to a June 16 notice from the Grant County Fiscal Court.

Bourbon County increased its occupational tax rate to 1.25% from 0.75%.

Flemingsburg increased its occupational tax rate to 1.5% from 1%.

Bloomberg Tax confirmed the rate increases for Bourbon County and Flemingsburg by phone with local tax authorities on June 27.
