Six Chinese jurisdictions, including Beijing, increased their monthly and hourly minimum wages either Sept. 1 or Oct. 1, according to an Oct. 17 chart (Chinese) from the national Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
In Anhui, monthly minimum wages for full-time workers range from 2,000 yuan (US$280.64) to 2,320 yuan, up from 1,780 to 2,060 yuan, the ministry said. Hourly minimum wages for part-time workers range from 20 to 23 yuan, up from 18 to 21 yuan, the ministry said.
