Changes to four Indiana counties’ income tax rates are expected to take effect Oct. 1, the state revenue department said Sept. 18.
The state withholding part of Departmental Notice No. 1 was unchanged from the previous version of the notice, which took effect Jan. 1.
The four counties changing tax rates are:
- Decatur County, to 2.45% from 2.5%.
- Fayette County, to 2.82% from 2.57%.
- Fulton County, to 2.88% from 2.68%.
- Henry County, to 2.02% from 1.8%.
The changes are subject to the final passing of each county’s ordinance, the department said.
