Five Chinese jurisdictions have adjusted their minimum wages since Oct. 1, 2024, according to a Jan. 14 chart (Chinese) from the national Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
In Chongqing, monthly minimum wages for full-time workers are 2,200 yuan (US$302.51) or 2,330 yuan, up from 2,000 or 2,100 yuan, the ministry said. Hourly minimum wages for part-time workers are 22 or 23 yuan, up from 20 or 21 yuan.
