The hourly minimum wage in Alameda, California, will rise to $16.52 from $15.75 effective July 1, according to the city’s minimum wage webpage.
Alameda previously stated on its website that the minimum wage would rise to $16.54, but the calculations were incorrect, a city official said in a May 11 email to Bloomberg Tax.
The city updated its minimum wage notice to reflect the change. The notice is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic, and Korean.
